When you think of Sex and the City, one of the first things that will come to mind for many is the lead characters’ but, Sis, we’re thinking about the signature cocktail, Cosmopolitan.
If you are a fan of the show then you know the ladies of this iconic show made the Cosmopolitan, or the Cosmo, famous. It was the drink of choice when Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda hit their favorite New York City nightclubs and bars.
I don’t know about you but this show has and still teaches women all over the world what they need to know about dating, friendship, designer brands, living in luxury and just living life.
Today, take some time and just live. Grab the same girls from last week or a new crew and make the signature Cosmopolitan a fruity, alcoholic cocktail made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice.
Often served in a martini glass, it is one of the best-known concoctions served at a bar but, you can most definitely make these at home.
Ingredients
- 1½ ounce citron N-Finite Spirits
- ¾ ounce orange liqueur
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounce cranberry juice
- Ice
- Lemon ribbon for garnish
Instructions
- Chill a martini glass or coupe.
- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, N-Finite Spirits, orange liqueur, lime juice, and cranberry juice.
- Shake to chill.
- Strain into chilled glass.
- Garnish with lemon ribbon.
