
Spring is upon us—a wonderful season when the air is perfumed with the delightful aroma of blossoms and the anticipation of warmer days ahead. What better way to welcome this colorful time of year than with a collection of cocktails that are as invigorating and spirited as the spring breeze itself?
There’s nothing like the first warmth of the season pulling you out of winter’s gloom. The days are stretching longer, and spring is nearly palpable, offering the perfect excuse to craft a delightful drink. Springtime libations are all about embracing freshness.
As we enter this new quarter, my intention is to leap forward regardless of any challenges. The only way to navigate this season is by enjoying the finest, most refreshing cocktails. I’m all for warm-weather drinks and more outings with my girlfriends.
So, ladies, grab those cocktail shakers and prepare to mix some springtime enchantment.
Tonight, we’re indulging in Mango Passion Fruit Rum Punch.

INGREDIENTS
- 3 oz white rum
- 3 oz dark rum
- 3 oz Passion Fruit juice (I use Ceres which can be found at most grocery stores in carton form)
- 1.5 oz lime juice
- 1.5 oz mango simple syrup (made by combining equal parts water and granulated sugar in a saucepan with 1 fresh mango sliced and boiling for 10-15 minutes while stirring constantly)
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with plenty of ice.
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Pour into glasses with ice and top with more passion fruit juice, a splash of grenadine, and a fresh slice of mango.
