This season, I decided to do something special and launch the Sis, Have a Cocktail: Cowgirl Edition. And listen… the first drink out the gate is giving southern sass with a fiery twist—meet the Cowgirl Flame.

Now, let me tell y’all….I partnered with Red Hazel, a bold and beautiful Black-owned spiced whiskey brand, to bring the ultimate cocktail experience to the girls who love a good drink. This was actually my first time trying spiced whiskey, and baby, I am in love.

Smooth, warm, and unapologetically bold… just like the women I create these cocktails for.

And since it’s fall, the vibes naturally had me craving a little country music. Something about the season, the boots, the flannels, the cooler nights screams southern girl energy. 

Did you know country music is having a major moment right now? Beyoncé shook the table this year with her country-inspired era, proving that southern Black women have always had a place in the genre. And let’s not forget K. Michelle—sis has been blending R&B soul with country storytelling for years. It’s giving two-step with a side of spice. 💃🏾🎶

Whiskey and country music actually have a long, intertwined history too. Fun fact: whiskey was once considered the “spirit of the South,” often linked with cowboy culture, late-night saloons, and bold storytelling in songs.
