Relationship Reality Check: It’s Time to Get Honest With Yourself

Have you ever looked at your relationship and thought, “Is this actually what I want… or is this just what I’ve gotten used to?”

Let’s be honest, sometimes we’re so busy trying to make a relationship work that we forget to stop and ask ourselves if it’s actually working for us.

That’s exactly why I created the Relationship Reality Check.

Inspired by the conversations in my book, Ladies, How Did We Get Here?, this isn’t about judging your relationship, telling you to leave, or convincing you that everything is wrong, it’s about giving you a moment to pause, reflect, and get honest with yourself.

Sometimes we normalize things simply because they’ve become familiar.

Maybe you’ve convinced yourself that inconsistent communication is normal. Maybe you’re constantly making excuses for someone’s behavior. Maybe you’re accepting the bare minimum because at least they’re doing something. Or maybe you’ve become so focused on being understanding that you’ve forgotten to ask whether your needs are being understood, too.

The Relationship Reality Check is designed to help you look a little deeper.

As you go through it, you’ll be asked questions that make you think about your standards, boundaries, communication, emotional needs, patterns, and the things you may have learned to accept in relationships.

And no, you might not love every answer.

That’s kind of the point.

Sometimes the most important conversations we have are the ones we have with ourselves.

I created this because I believe women deserve more than relationship advice that simply tells us what we should do. Sometimes we need space to understand how we got here in the first place.

So grab a few minutes, get somewhere comfortable, and be honest with yourself.

No judgment. No right or wrong answers. Just a little reality check.
