
Sis, it’s been a minute. Life has been lifing but in a good way. As I prepare to wrap up 2023, I’ve been swamped with WORK. I just celebrated my 30th birthday and now preparing for Christmas…. So yes, I’ve been on a money making mission while still incorporating a lot of self-care.
The most wonderful time of the year can also feel like the craziest time of the year, with seemingly endless reasons to celebrate. I’ve accomplished so much this year a celebration is much needed but not just for me but my girls as well.
Usually on Tuesdays, I would gather a few friends and go out for tacos, good conversations and most importantly cocktails. I’m doing it a little different tonight. I’m staying in to prepare for all of the corporate Christmas events I’ll be attending over the next few weeks. In addition, I’m really big on celebrating my friends and letting them know how appreciative I am for their friendship therefore I’ll be planning and ordering gifts just for them.
While I have this holiday cheer energy… I’ll be sipping on a Mistletoe Kiss Cocktail.

MISTLETOE KISS COCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz. white rum
- 1/2 oz. lime juice
- 1 oz. cranberry rosemary simple syrup recipe below
- 2 T. fresh cranberries for garnish
- rosemary sprig for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Shake rum, lime juice, and cranberry rosemary simple syrup with ice.
- Strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary
CRANBERRY ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Cook until cranberries are soft but haven’t burst open, about 10 minutes.
- Let cool, then strain through a fine sieve.
